   Morning Rak,

   My name is Tochi. I am a Nigerian and leave here in Nigeria. I have an F-1 visa interview for the US in August 10. I have been admitted to New Jersey Institute of Technology. I had a fantastic performance in my GRE/TOEFL that warranted a part scholarship.

   This however, is the second time I am scheduling for an interview as the first one was denied me. Though a nice interview it was, I was denied because the interview date was the same with my supposed time of study commencement. I was asked by the consular officer to rebook another appointment, which I have done. My passport was not stamped as "NIV received". Does this mean I have a better chance this time? How can I be sure of a visa this time?

   HELP HELP HELP. i AM A uK CITIZEN STUDYING IN THE USA. I KNOW I HAVE TO KEEP A GPA OF 2 TO MAINTAIN STATUS. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DROP BELOW?
   IS THE GPA AVERAGED OVER THE WHOLE YEAR?
   DO I HAVE TO KEEP A GPA OF 2 FOR EVERY SEMESTER>
   HOW LIENIENT ARE IMMIGRATION ABOUT GPA GRADES?

   I came to Us in 2004 fall to colorado univ for MS, I graduated, then moved to Umass for PhD. My F1 visa was given to Colorado univ for 3 yrs, now I am planning to go to India and hence need to renew visa there. Is it ok to renew a visa that was issued to Colorado univ and I am at diff univ now?

   Hi rakesh,

   I am sandy from Punjab. My father is a farmer. He doen't file income tax returns, since he has only agriculture income. Last year he sold some part of our agriculture land and got 75 lacs. Can i show these funds for my F1 visa interview? My i20 states that my cost for MPH degree is 55000$ for 2 years. Can i show these funds for my F1 visa or the tax returns are necessary for F1 visa? Please help me out.

   i was denied the visa the first time on financial ground..on 14th july..i have taken the date again on 31st july....

   i have transferred 10 lac in this period...waht should i say to VO if asked....and what should be said about why i was refused..

   Hi ! I m harpreet and i have applied in USA for MBA. (Dowling College,Oakdale,New york) I have done my graduation in BA and i have done this degree on april 2004 after that i have completed 6 months computer course and 6 months Tally course and from june 2005 to till date i m working as assistant accountant in a company.Actually my visa was refused on dated 29 july 2009 and i have taken again date for 2nd time interview please help me with visa question and answer.Actually i want to know next time what He/she can ask to me in next interview?
   In my previous interview actually i was not able to understand the question of consular and i asked three time to her but she told me u can go now and she gave me my passport to me after that i asked to her mam plz tell me whats the reason behind it ? but she told me don't argue you are disqualify so please help me and tell me what does it meaning that u r disqualify please sir i m very tensed bcoz i worked very hard for visa and i wanna go for MBA in USA.

   Please please help me and tell me how much possibilities in my next interview ?

   Can i get my study visa?

   HI Rakesh,
   Im sharath from mysore .In my i-20 the fees is 26,500$,we are showin 12 lakhs in the account,is it sufficient.We arent taking bank loan.I have visa interview on nov 9(F-1 visa).I have completed my B.E in C.S. I have more than 20+ back logs.So when the visa officer ask about backlog,what reason shall i tell?Please Email me.

    It's because you can't speak English very well. If you're being interviewed in a language that you cannot speak very well or understand, and that language happens to be the native language of the country you're trying to get into, you should try developing a better proficiency in that language first.

    In short: you were disqualified because your ability to understand and speak English was very poor, indicating a lack of dedication toward earning your way into the USA.
