SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Overview

Business information warehouse (BW) has features like and unlike typical data warehouses. Like most data warehouses, BW is a combination of databases and database management tools that are used to support management decision making. SAP BW is a comprehensive business intelligence product centered around a data warehouse and optimized for SAP's R/3 environment. SAP BW also includes preconfigured data extractors, analysis and report tools and business process models. It is an integral component of the company's mySAP Business Intelligence group of products.

    Business information warehouses are now a days have become a part and parcel of our daily business. You cannot ignore them at any means no matter how much you dislike them. SAP BW is definitely a good one.

    If your companies uses SAP (whether R/3 or ECC, etc.,) then you'll want to have a BW instance. It's just so much easier for your end users.
    I'm familiar with SAP BW, but SAP is too big for just a small dental office...it would be total overkill. However, for mid & large companies that run SAP, they should be using BW for much of their reporting needs.

    I'm not really confident about this site because I have difficulties reading the articles. At least if it had a reputation management online or if it would try to get one. In this case the site won't have these problems when I try to post a comment, because this online management is re-engineering the primary page and articles and repairing the site.
