Please do not show sympathy to people selling buds on roadside or at Signals.....Just wanted to warn you people not to buy those packs of ear buds you get at the roadside. It's made from cotton that has already been used in hospitals.They take all the dirty, blood and pus filled cotton, wash it, bleach it and use it to make ear buds. Lately, there have been lots of talking about it. And the same content is present on many blogs and forums. But people actually do not know whether all what is written is true or no.
I don't know of other things that you have talked about here But, certainly I can say about Kurkure that there is no plastic in Kurkure. Kurkure is made of ingredients including rice meal, corn meal, etc. These ingredients are used by most of us in our household kitchen.

Kurkure does not contain plastic
This is just a false rumor that is being spread around about Kurkure. There is no plastic in Kurkure also when you burn Kurkure, there is no plastic melting.
Kurkure is made of edible ingredients including Rice meal, Corn meal, Gram Meal, Edible oil, Seasonings, Salt, Spices and Condiments and Flavors (some or all in variants of Kurkure).
Don't know how true is the other things mentioned in your post. Do you know where all this is mentioned on Times of India website.

Kurkure not Harmful to Health
Of all the things mentioned in your post, all I can talk about here is Kurkure as I know of it.
Firstly, the rumor that Kurkure contains plastic is completely baseless and there is no truth in it. Kurkure is made from edible ingredients and these same ingredients are also used in our kitchen. So if Kurkure contains plastic that means that the food that we prepare at home also contains plastic, which can't be.
When you burn Kurkure, it is the starch content contained in Kurkure that burns giving a plastic-like feeling. But in reality there is no plastic burning as there is no plastic in Kurkure.
Kurkure not containing plastic
The rumor about Kurkure containing plastic is just baseless. If there was really plastic in Kurkure then how come it is still available in the market. Therefore, please do not believe in such rumors which says that there is plastic in Kurkure.

the information about kurkure is not at all true. there is no logic in it ....... did anyone think of it .... how plastic could ever be digested by humans ????!!! all these years, we have polluted our environment with plastics and there is no other way other than plastic recycling or buring plastic (which is the cause of air pollution then) lot of research gave rise to the sophisticated biodegradable plastic .....
should one use such high funda plastic just as a food contaminant ....!!!!!!!! that's absolutely senseless

Kurkure has no plastic for sure
Well, I dont know about other products but I can say confidently that Kurkure has no plastic whatsoever. Arey, it is made of home based food ingredients. Have a friend who works there and I can vouch for its credibility. Any starch based food product will burn that way.
