Divorce settlements can be costly, especially for the rich and famous. Here are a few examples.
Steven Spielberg’s first marriage had a prenuptial agreement, but as it was written on a napkin and there was no legal representation present, the pre-nuptial agreement was deemed null and void with Amy Irving receiving around $100 million in 1989.
Harrison Ford’s first wife Melissa Mathison received around $85 million in their divorce.
Cindy Silva was married to Kevin Costner for 16 years and in the end, she received an estimated $80 million.
James Cameron and Linda Hamilton’s divorce gave her an estimated $50 million
Michael Douglas had to give up around $45 million to his first wife Diandra.
At the time of Lionel Richie and second wife Diane's divorce, Diane received an estimated $20 million.
Mick Jagger’s wife Jerry Hall only received between $15 million and $25 million since Mick hallenged the legality of the wedding in 1990 in which he received an annulment

Marriage retreat, as some specialist call this phenomen, can be very devastating when it comes to the financial status of a rich person, but in some cases they fully deserve it so... if people would invest more in feelings than money things would be so different.
Written on a napkin? Is that
Written on a napkin? Is that true? You'd think if a guy had the cohones to ask his wife to sign a prenup, he wouldn't make a joke of it on a napkin, and instead do it properly with a divorce lawyer and all. Of course, if you're not a divorce lawyer it's not necessarily common sense all the hoops you have to jump through to have a valid prenup- after all, a valid contract can be drawn up on a napkin.
