to reason out scientifically, the term heart is actually part of the mind. the real heart cannot influence our thoughts and actions in whatever way. love is an illusion embedded in our mind to ensure our continued existence by procreation an had been exploited by poets and artist to be a beautiful entity within human nature over the centuries to sustain their daily bread. perhaps i'm being too cynical but i have yet to feel whatever that u girls call "sweet" in a guy. remember boys and girls...dont be fooled, love is just an ilusion....illusion....illusion

How is this sweet? Its just treating girls as pretty little things. I thought girls would hate this. It doesn't say anything about how girls are sweet, kind, caring, smart or how good they with people who need emotional support. It's just about how they smell and look and taste.
And girls tell us how important it is for a guy to be sweet. Well it's misleading. I thought it meant they want guys who would do anything for them, and like them for more than just how they look. I'm a guy, and I wish...
I feel this way, but it's so hard to find a girl that likes guys that are maybe a bit more emotional or that. I'm only average looking, but that's usually enough for most girls to not even bother. I do try, and the things in this list make me feel butterflies I couldn't even describe, but most girls just seem to write me off because I'm not fantastic looking and that means no matter what I feel, or say, or do, I'll never get a chance. I don't sleep around or anything, people always tell me I'm a nice person and things, but girls always have their heart set on a perfect man, and to most girls I'm just not.
Sorry, I'm going on. But yeah, this is fantastic. It's not exhaustive though, so I'm not sure why people are going on about it having no emotional depth.

I dont understand why people
I dont understand why people would fight over this article, its all down to personal opinion and also personal experience. If you never have been in love or have had a bad experience with a partner then ofcourse you are going to dismiss this article and claim a guy is emotionally detached from his feelings, and there is no such thing as love; which is fair enough and down to personal opinions but on the other hand if you are in love, or if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend then you may want to or be able to relate to what is written.
People may claim that Love is an illusion and this may be for a number of different reasons. For example they may have never felt love, or may have been hurt by love. However there is enough evidence to suggest love is real. Love is the central image in which many authors/poets base their work and its these consuming feelings that give rise to such amazing poems, books, artwork, films etc which are often inspired by the feeling of love.
Love is a rare and precious thing, although I believe in love I do not believe that a teenager has the capacity to feel unconditional love for someone or something, mainly due to two things, one being their hormones -which would make them fall in and out of love too easily- and secondly teenagers have a lack of experience in everything, I dont think any normal teenager has ever felt pain and loss great enough to know what unconditional, accepting love feels like.
But then again, who am i to stand in the way of true love?
