Hyderabad vs Mumbai & Rahul Gandhi vs Lagadapati

Rekha Feb 5, 2010

In one view of Rahul Gandhi's grand defiance of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray by entering Mumbai, it reminds one of a similar incident which happened around a couple of months back.

When KCR and the TRS party warned Lagadapati against entering Hyderabad, he dodged the police in Vijayawada and surfaced in Hyderabad totally ignoring the warning of KCR and Harish Rao who warned that 'United AP propogonists' like Lagadapati should not enter Hyderabad.

Similarly today Rahul Gandhi daringly defied the Shiv Sena and roamed all around Mumbai and also travelled in a local train.

Today HMTV conducted "Dasa Disa" speech on the Telangana issue in Nellore. The meeting was attended by both "Jai Andhra" and "Samaikyandhra" people. The first few speakers were from BJP who spoke for dividing the state. Then the senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy's turn came. His speech has been divided into various parts.

DEMOCRACY COMPARISON IN ANDHRA & TELANGANA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He reminded how the Andhra people allowed the BJP leaders who wanted separate Andhra state speak without any hindrance. He reminded that this is real democracy unlike the Telangana region, where if anyone spoke for United AP, then he would be trashed by the TRS goons. "This itself shows that there is democracy in Andhra but not in Telangana" he said.

Hyderabad as common capital for 10 years?

pavan Jan 31, 2010

A Telugu television channel came out with a scoop on Saturday night, stating that the Centre had almost decided on bifurcation of the state and that it was seriously working out a formula on the state capital issue.

The channel, quoting sources in Delhi, came out with a theory that the Centre would propose making Hyderabad as a common capital for Andhra and Telangana regions for another 10 years till a new capital is created for the Andhra region. The proposal, according to the channel, is being made in view of the international recognition Hyderabad has got and politicians and businessmen in other two regions have a lot of stake in it.

The channel also says the Congress high command had a talk with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao and tried to convince him on the capital issue. On behalf of the high command, senior Congress MLA K Jana Reddy is negotiating with KCR, the channel said.

We will feed Chiranjeevi with "Sunnam" not "Annam" : Harish Rao

Priyamani Jan 19, 2010

KCR's nephew and TRS leader Harish Rao has come down on the PRP president Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi has recently said in an interview that the majority of the Telangana people are against the bifurcation of the state and also said that the Telangana people would welcome him with open arms in he tours Telangana and would affectionately serve him Telangana food items.

Clearly miffed by the regular statements by Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu, the TRS leader Harish Rao has sarcastically said that the Telangana people would not serve Annam (food) to Chiraneevi but Sunnam (white wash powder).

Amar Singh takes inspiration from KCR

Amar Singh who quit from all the posts of Samajwadi Party except from the primary membership of the party, said that he would work from now onwards to divide Uttar Pradesh. He said that he takes inspiration from KCR who too is fighting for Telangana state.

He also advocated division of Uttar Pradesh, the base of his party, into smaller states of Poorvanchal, Bundelkhand and Harit Pradesh, indicating new political choices he might make, though he said he would not leave the party ''unless booted out of it''.

''I am thankful to Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) for accepting my resignation.I am really grateful to him for freeing me,'' Mr Singh said at a crowded and hurriedly-called press conference shortly after landing in the Capital. SP General Secretary Sanjay Dutt, who was also present at the news conference and has followed in the footsteps of Mr Amar Singh and resigned from his post, said he, too, wanted his resignation to be accepted.

Why is Kavitha crying?

Kavitha, the daughter of KCR is leading a relentless battle against the films in which the heroes are from the Andhra region. Since last two days she has been running from one TV channel to another TV channel and also she has been crying a lot at her house these days. People who were observing her say that her talk is filled with jealousy.

Till couple of days back her father KCR was the uncrowned hero in Andhra Pradesh. He was the talk of the town and none in Andhra Pradesh spent their day without mentioning or talking about him. So much so that he has over taken every other leader or film hero in popularity.

KCR To Be Made Central Cabinet Minister?

The Central UPA government is seriously considering to induct KCR into the Union ministry. According to the hints given by the UPA government, the induction of KCR into the ministry serves two purposes. KCR can be reigned in for the time being and temporarily keep him away from the Andhra Pradesh politics. Another advantage is that the peace can be restored in Andhra Pradesh for the time being and give more space for the CM Rosaiah to concentrate on the administrative affairs.

But some Congress leaders are apprehensive of inducting him in the Central cabinet. Already Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh had enough headaches regarding the Telangana issue.

KCR Daughter's Mindless Talk

KCR's daughter is making confusing statements these days. It is well known that KCR and his family spit fire on Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu's family for their support to the United Andhra Pradesh. KCR and the TRS people asked the film personalities to not to get into politics. They asked the film personalities to mind their own work but not the politics relating to Telangana or United Andhra Pradesh

But yesterday and today Kavitha, the daughter of KCR has wondered how the film personalities, who have been in Hyderabad since long time didn't come out in support of Telangana. This has taken many people by surprise. Andhra leaders wonder whether it is OK for the film personalities to support Telangana agitation but not Samaikya Andhra agitation.

Which party should get 'Telangana' credit?

Which party should get 'Telangana' credit?

The war of political dominancy in ‘to be formed telangana state’ has already become a much debated subject in political circles. With TRS and KCR raising the temperatures in total telangana with their fasts on one side and telangana Congress leaders confident that ‘it will be Congress Govt. in Centre to grant the statehood of telangana and it will be again the Congress Govt. in state to accept it’, so why give the name and fame to TRS?, TDP telangana leaders crying hard that it was Central Govt. which is delaying the process while their stand on telangana is clear from last General elections and BJP, Communists trying their share of fame in telangana is posing big questions about whom should get the real credit for telangana?, if statehood is achieved soon.

Telangana BCs & SCs Feel Insecure

Priyamani Dec 30, 2009

Telangana BCs & SCs Feel Insecure

Most Telangana BCs, SCs & STs are feeling very insecure these days. The reason is not hard to guess. It was the two castes i.e Telangana Reddys and Velamas who virtually ruled them ruthlessly for many centuries though not all Reddys and the Velamas are ruthless. Even though the Nizams were the rulers of the Telangana before independence, the region was actually ruled in many parts by Reddys and Velamas. These two castes killed lower caste people ruthlessly and made them their virtual slaves. Though the forward castes like Reddys, Kammas, Kapus etc too were dominant in the Andhra region, the suppression was not as severe as in the Telangana region. It was one of the reason why the Maoists are more active and prevalent in the Telangana region than Andhra region.

Now the lower caste people in the Telangana people are afraid that the older days are coming back to haunt them. The present Telangana movement is hijacked by two castes i.e Velamas and Reddys. KCR of TRS is a Velama and the Telangana Congress led by Jana Reddy, Damodhar Reddy are Reddys.

Why TRS is turning blind eye on RFC?

Former Chairman of APSRTC Gone Prakash Rao demanded TRS party president KCR to explain him why he and his party is turning blind eye on media baron Ramoji Rao’s Ramoji Film City and his other business houses.

Speaking to media he said “TRS and its president KCR had some understanding with Ramoji Rao. That’s why his party workers didn’t disrupt their regular businesses during the Bandh call given on Dec.24th. While, the entire Telangana is observing bandh on 24th of Dec., RFC is the only organisation that goes on with its regular business? I like to know why the TRS president KCR is turning blind eye on Ramoji Rao. Did you both have any understanding behind the screen?

Bandh Tomorrow. No Trains & No Meetings

The bandh time is back. One more day Hyderabad will lose hundreds of crores of rupees and also countless problems for the people while the leaders like Rosaiah, KCR etc would rest happily eating and singing at their homes.

The South Central railway has announced that no train would travel through Telangana tomorrow in view of the bandh. While all this is going on the CM Rosaiah is not taking any steps in controlling the law and order situation. He today gave a media briefing on the losses Hyderabad is facing due to the turmoil in Andhra Pradesh and indirectly asked everyone to follow the band. Political leaders have commented that they have not seen such weak hearten CM ever.

TDP Leaders Copies KCR

TDP Leaders Copies KCR

TDP leaders from the Andhra and the Rayalaseema regions have warned that a "pralayam" which roughly translates to deluge in English, would occur in Andhra Pradesh if the UPA government goes back on its word on "Samaikya Andhra".

The words were in fact directly copied from KCR who also warned of a "pralayam" if the UPA government goes back on its word on Telangana. But while the TDP leaders warned of the deluge if AP separates, KCR warned of the same if AP does not bifurcate.

Though the Congress High Command went back on its word on separate Telangana, no Pralayam or Deluge occurred as claimed by the TRS president KCR.
