Katrina Kaif who is climbing the ladder of success very fast has many good projects in her kitty but despite her wish, she has to dump one to accept the other due to date clashes. Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor might have shared a superb chemistry in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini’ but the actress now dumped her best friend Ranbir Kapoor to be Hrithik Roshan’s ladylove.

Kat has turned down Imtiaz Ali’s next and accepted filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s offer. Kat was keen to work with Ranbir Kapoor but due to hectic schedule, she had to walk out. Moreover, she finds that it is a bright opportunity to work alongside stylish Hrithik Roshan.

Though Deepika Padukone started off her career with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om', she says that she is more eager to work with Salman Khan.

"In fact we were supposed to be paired up much earlier but then a couple of films didn`t quite work out. That`s sad but I am sure that in near future, we would be paired opposite each other," said the actress, who will next be seen with Farhan Akhtar in `Karthik Calling Karthik`.

The 23-year-old has already worked with hotshots like Akshay Kumar `Chandni Chowk To China` and Saif Ali Khan `Love Aaj Kal` and will next be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Imran Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh in `Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se`, `Break Ke Baad` and YRF`s untitled film respectively.

Bollywood has always given more importance to glamor and young heroines rather than old 35 plus heroines. But few heroines defied that myth and have succeed beyond 35 plus.

Kajol is in the news again as an actress for her blowtorch-intense performance in My Name Is Khan. Thirty-five, married, a mother (incidentally, when mother-of-two Dimple signed Sagar, she was just 25) and yet Kajol is accepted as a romantic heroine it's definitely remarkable!

After five superhits together (Baazigar, Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and K3G) the SRK-Kajol pair is likely to notch up a sixth with My Name Is Khan if initial collections are anything to go by.

Contrary to reports that Miss India Earth 2009, Pooja Chopra, will star opposite Jackie Bhagnani in his father Vashu Bhagnani's film Faltu, the truth is that Pooja is not doing the film.Talking to reporters yesterday, Pooja said that she was grossly upset with Vashu for leaking it to the press that she was doing the film before she had signed it.

Pooja said that Vashu offered her Faltu before she embarked for the Miss India contest. The next thing she knows is that there were reports saying that she's doing his film. Her agency got into action and did some damage control.

She's not supposed to sign any film till she crowns her successor, which will happen in April 2010. But she's definitely not going to sign Faltu even now because this whole incident has left her with a very sour taste.

Vivek Oberoi seems to have had a ball shooting for Kookie Gulati’s ‘Prince’. His closeness to co-star Neeru Bajwa was rather talked about but it now looks like he’s also quite intimate with Aruna Shields, the lead actress of Prince.

The duo got intimate after they filmed for a kissing scene in Prince. According to sources, they were seen spending quite a lot of time together and got along really well too.

Bollywood glamour-doll Katrina Kaif, who has been nominated at the forthcoming 55th Filmfare Awards in best actor group for her appealing role in "New York", said that she is glad with her nomination and won't mind if someone else wins the prize.

She said that each and ever person wishes to win prize for his/her work.

She also said that when a producer makes a film, he want it to be a megahit. And in the same sense, when you are nominated naturally you want to win.

"But honestly I am so used to not winning that just the nomination is enough," she said.

Deepika Padukone's on-off relationship continues to make news. The duo looked great in Bachna Ae Haseeno, but weren't paired thereafter. Reportedly, with their personal equations undergoing a change, the actors have decided against working together.

"Completely untrue. I would love to work with Ranbir. And Ranbir is a professional too. These are mere rumours and shouldn't be entertained."

So why haven't the duo signed any film together?

"Ranbir and I have decided that till such time we aren't offered a script that inspires us, we won't work together. I am keen to work with him. So is he. We looked great in Bachna Ae Haseeno," Deepika said.

Bollywood movies are made in Hindi and using that language many actors and actresses have become crorepathis.

Then why do these stars speak in English in many occasions -- Filmfare awards, interviews, even in movies there is too much english etc.

Isn't it tragic they make money off Hindi but promote English? This is the trend in other languages as well. Should we not discourage it?

Please give your views. What can be done to stop this unfortunate trend. Everywhere people promote their languages - Chinese, French, Japanese. So why do Indians use and abuse their language as and when needed and give priority to English.

After targeting Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for his remarks supporting the inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the IPL, the Shiv

Sena Saturday dragged in Aamir Khan, calling the duo "2 Idiots".

"In real life, Aamir and Shah Rukh have been proved as '2 Idiots' as both are making stupid statements supporting the cause of Pakistani cricketers," said a statement in the party's Hindi mouthpiece ‘Dopahar Ka Saamna’.

"On the one hand, while SRK is openly displaying his love for Pakistani players, Aamir has even put nationalistic sentiments in his utterances on this issue," said the statement in the tabloid, which hit the stands this afternoon.
