Arthritis is a disease that hurts body joints to move, probably because the bone joints are worn. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in people over the age of 55 and is a group of conditions that include damage to the compounds of the body. There are various forms of arthritis and osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, septic arthritis and gouty arthritis. Patients with gout are a good idea to avoid alcohol, drink many soft drinks, and avoid eating too much meat, liver, kidney or brain. It is also good to avoid shellfish and anchovies.

The development of the disease may accidentally coincide with a nutritional change and not necessarily mean that a change of diet or a particular food is responsible for the improvement or worsening of arthritis.
