<p><strong>Joomla Modules</strong></p>
<p>Modules are the mini-applications used to present information in website. Modules can  appear for any number of time on any page and position of the modules can be changed. If your site has different sections you can use modules for different sections. Module doesn't present the main content of the website, but provides extra information on the website. Joomla web development modules do not have their own database, they draw information from Joomla components. Similarly modules can display information from other database of others site. <p><strong>Joomla Plug-ins</strong></p>
<p>Plug-in is basically a piece of code that execute when Joomla events occur. They are used to modify the output of Joomla component. They are very flexible to operate. Use of Joomla plug-in increases functionality of existing Joomla application. There are many core plug-in types available like authentication, content, editors, search, users etc. These core plug-ins generate set of events to make Joomla application more flexible.</p>
