Eric and Ebony quickly hit it off, went on a couple of dates and started texting each other on a regular basis but they didn’t have a sexual relationship.
A few weeks later Eric found himself comfortable enough to start texting Ebony little dirty texts such as” I hope you’re wearing something nice or nothing at all” but Ebony found the first little dirty texts to be fun. Soon after, Eric decided he would try to step up the dirty texts to more erotic ones in hopes that Ebony would go along with them as she did the first. He sent her a text one day while at work that read” When can I lick that sweet cat” Ebony didn’t respond because she felt they hardly knew each other and that he’d crossed the line. Eric figured Ebony was probably too busy at work to respond and his next text read” I like to lick it when it’s wet”. Ebony’s next text to Eric afterwards was to stop texting her and that she felt they should have no further contact.
Eric felt Ebony’s response was too drastic and although he tried to apologize it did not work. Eric got offended that the first texts were no problem to Ebony and he kept dirty texting her. Ebony had to threaten Eric with harassment charges for him to understand that not everyone loves dirty texting at the beginning of a friendship. Make sure the other party is at least open to the idea or a spontaneous dirty text could quickly send them running.
