Whatever your dream, you can jump higher following the right exercise. There are many exercises to increase vertical but only few that can bring real results.
In this article we will discuss 3 exercises that can increase your vertical leap. If you are following these exercises it is guaranteed that you can gain several inches vertical in the end of this week.
But first, I must advise you that you should use all exercises that we are about to discuss. Variation is important when it comes to increase your vertical leap. You should try to mix the exercise each week.
Let's find out the exercises:
- Hurdle Hoping
Hurdles are set and placed one-by-one with appropriate space. Then, you prepare your knee and hip for jumping movement. After you prepare your hip and knee, you can begin jump forward over the hurdle and then immediately jump again over the next hurdle.
Lift with both of your knees, tucked against your chest and land on the balls of feet. Use your arm to balance your motion and increase vertical leap.
- Single Leg Hoping
In this exercise you will stand on one leg, and push off from the standing leg, jumping forward and landing on the same leg.
Use opposite leg to balance your motion and aim to jump higher with each jump.
- Tuck Jumps
Jump up then tuck your knees against your chest. As your feet return to the starting position, land on the balls of feet and immediately spring up in quick upward motion. In the next spring, once again aim to jump higher.
