Some of the foods that are iron rich are red meat, lamb, liver, oyster, poultry, eggs, soybeans, dark leafy vegetables, whole grains, broccoli and tuna.

Zinc

Zinc promotes hair growth and development. It brings about hormonal balance; thus, your hair will absorb nutrients efficiently and dandruff will also be avoided. Aside from oyster; poultry, beans, pork, whole grains, almonds, red meat and dairy products are also good sources of Zinc.

Trace Mineral Silica

This nutrient promotes healthy hair and skin and is mostly found in oats, root vegetables, brown rice, barley, and green leafy vegetables.

Vitamins A, C and E

They are antioxidants. They help in preventing dandruff and stop hair from drying.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids

This nutrient which can be found mostly in fishes, flaxseed oil and walnuts promotes healthy scalp. It also reduces swelling and promotes blood flow to the follicles.
