Desires like those could be the origin to a very well known illness called anorexia which is an eating disorder characterize by low body weight and fear of becoming fat. Causes of Anorexia: -

• Blood problems: - Anemia, pernicious anemia caused by severely low levels of vitamin B12 and a life-threatening condition called pancytopenia are common among anorexics. • Neurological problems: - Anorexics may suffer nerve damage and experience seizures, disordered thinking, loss of feeling and other nerve problems in the hands or feet.

• Loss of at least 3 consecutive menstrual periods. • Not wanting or refusing to eat in public • Anxiety • Weakness • Brittle skin • Shortness of breath • Obsessiveness about calorie intake
Home Remedies for Anorexia: -
• Garlic proves effective in curing Anorexia nervosa. You can consume it in salads, soups or other preparations. Garlic stimulates digestive powers and is great for increasing appetite as well. • Ginger for making the best remedy for anorexia, you must take ginger. Make a paste of ginger and take it with ½ teaspoon of lime juice. You can take this 2 times a day for about 3 weeks as it is helpful as well as beneficial for anorexia. • Use of Cloves and Lime Juice - Boil a cup of water and add 3-4 cloves in it. After boiling, mix ½ teaspoon lime juice to it. Drink this solution two times daily. Regular use of this drink increases the appetite and is an herbal home remedy for anorexia. • Yet another simple method would be to boil water and add 2 to 3 cloves in it. Also add ½ tsp lime juice.
