How To Lose Back Fat

When we look at our love handles, we often overlook the fact that they could be caused by lower back fat. Getting rid of this can mean the difference between having a nice slender appearance or that sexy "V" shape that many long for. There are many ways to get rid of lower back fat, you will also see that you will have less fat in other areas of your body as well.

Most people realize that excess fat is unhealthy, but the key is where the fat is distributed. People with apple-shaped bodies (fattest in the abdomen) have a greater risk of heart disease and diabetes than those with pear shapes (fattest in the hips, buttocks, and thighs).

You don't have to go to the gym to burn your back fat. If you don't have access to a gym or cables, you can do similar exercises with dumbbells. With dumbbell rows, you should only use one weighted arm at a time, and use a bench to support you. With dumbbell rows, you should use one arm and knee to support you as you lift and lower the weight.

Fatty areas on the lower back are often referred to as love handles. If you are a woman with excess back fat, you can lose it by simply losing weight in general. The only way to spot reduce body fat is via cosmetic procedures. Otherwise, you'll need to follow a dedicated diet and fitness regime to lose your back fat.

While you can't choose the areas from which weight comes off first, you will lose lower back fat if you lose weight all over. There are also many treatments you can employ to expedite fat loss and tone your lower back. In addition, there are surgical procedures available to remove lower back fat.

• Walking is a great way to stay healthy and fit. It helps in circulation that promotes healthy metabolism in your body. Walking not only reduces back fat, but also weight in general. 20-30 minutes of walking in the morning or after dinner is good for beginning. • Indulge in a lot of cardio exercises. Do them for about 30 minutes a day to see the results. • Ensure you include weight lifting routines in your daily work out schedule. They help to burn the calories and would make you feel healthier. • Indulge in HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), an exercise with short duration training sessions that would enhance the performance levels. Go for both the cardio exercises and HIIT, as both done together would be beneficial. Remember not to over do anything. A right level of activity should only be done. • Drink more water and consume less of sugary sodas and drinks.
