In one view of Rahul Gandhi's grand defiance of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray by entering Mumbai, it reminds one of a similar incident which happened around a couple of months back.
When KCR and the TRS party warned Lagadapati against entering Hyderabad, he dodged the police in Vijayawada and surfaced in Hyderabad totally ignoring the warning of KCR and Harish Rao who warned that 'United AP propogonists' like Lagadapati should not enter Hyderabad.
Similarly today Rahul Gandhi daringly defied the Shiv Sena and roamed all around Mumbai and also travelled in a local train.
The similarities between the TRS and Shiv Sena are many. Many a time Shiv Sena said that Mumbai belongs to Maratis only. Shivsena supremo, many a times said that if a person cannot speak Marati then he or she should be thrown out of Mumbai. Similarly KCR and his party members have been saying that people who support United AP would not be allowed to live in Hyderabad.
KCR also compared himself with MNS and Shiv Sena several times. Looks like it is because of this negative thoughts that the TRS party lost heavily in the last assembly elections just like Shiv Sena.
Demanding a separate state is not wrong. But demanding at gun point (like violence against persons, hotels, films etc) only makes the parties like TRS look like a militant outfit like Shiv Sena and nothing else.
