Is Andra Pradesh heading towards a disastrous future?
Ever since Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy’s (YSR) mysterious death Andra politics are going through one problem after another. Recent upsurge of Telangana movement , KCR’s fast-unto-death looks like a calibrated drama played out by Congress President Sonia to check YSR son Jagan. What is most interesting point here is even Maoists are taking active part in this whole Drama and they want to force it to an logical end i.e Separate state for Telangana region.
As the whole Drama is still unfolding we have to wait a little bit more time to know about the finale reaction from Center. If Central Government decided to go ahead with separate state it will have cascading affects on number of issues like security of the other regions people, sharing of river water etc. The most contentious issue is who get control over the Capital city, Hyderabad.
