Alcohol is indeed the main cause for someone to develop a liver disease. I have an uncle who used to drink on a daily basis ever since i can remember. Few years ago he went to the doctor due some severe liver pains. After several tests the doctor diagnose was liver cirrhosis and he told to my uncle that if he cares about his life he should stop drinking. He got so scared his life was in danger that he finally took the right decision of getting detoxified and after just one week he attended an alcohol rehab Las Vegas Nevada. He never got drunk after that, and although sometimes he does drink a glass of wine, this only occurs on special occasions such Christmas.
