<p><strong>Do a Patch Test:</strong> - Doing a patch test is your best bet to protect your skin from potential problems when trying new products. Apply a small amount of the product to your inner elbow, wrist or behind your ear and wait 24 hours. If there is no sign of irritation or reaction the product is safe for you.</p>
<p><strong>Check the Labels:</strong> - While choosing make-up products and cosmetics, look for the ones labeled 'hypoallergenic' and 'fragrance-free.' Though these terms do not have any regulations, it is definitely a good place to start.</p>
<p><strong>Avoid Problem Ingredients:</strong> - Over the years, dealing with your sensitive skin might have let you know the ingredients that are not the best for you. Create a list of ingredients that cause allergies or irritate your skin and make sure you avoid any products that contain them.<br />
<strong>Throw out Old Products:</strong> - Old cosmetics do not just gather dust on the outside; they deteriorate from the inside as well. So, if you are still saving your lipstick from your wedding day, our waiting until you use all of your eye shadow, you might want to reconsider. Cosmetics that have exceeded their shelf-life can cause infections and irritate sensitive skin.</p>
<p><strong>Keep it clean:</strong> - Good hygiene is essential for every makeup routine, but it’s especially important if you have sensitive skin. Make sure to wash your hands before applying makeup and keep your cosmetic tools clean. Also, don’t share your makeup, which can spread germs.</p>
<p><strong>Go Subtle with Eye Shadows:</strong> - Go light on your eyes and use eye shadow in earth tones, such as white, beige and cream. They have fewer pigments than darker shades and are less likely to irritate the eyes. Glow Eye Shadow Trio – Copper is a great choice.
