But even the great philosophers, with their profound definitions, could not fully touch its true essence. In a survey of 4-8 year olds, kids share their views on love. But what do little kids know about love? Read on and be surprised that despite their young and innocent minds, kids already have a simple but deep grasp of that four-letter word.</p>
<p>"Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."</p>
<p>"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."</p>
<p>"When someone loves you, the way she says your name is different. You know that your name is safe in her mouth."</p>
<p>"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."</p>
<p>"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."</p>
<p>"Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings."</p>

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest:

Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, 

nor is he who does not love his brother.

It goes on to say,

For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother.

And why did he murder him?

Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.

14) We know that we have passed from death to life,

because we love the brethern.

He who does not love his brother abides in death.

15) Whoever hates his brother is a muderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16) By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.

17)But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need,

how does the love of God abide in him?

18) My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue,

but in deed and in truth.

What does it mean to hate you brother?

1Cor. 13:4-7 says what love is and can show us what love is not!

Love is patient, hate is being impatient!

Love is kind, hate is unkind, rude Etc.....

Love is not jealous, 

You get the picture!

Why is it that most churches lack this kind of Love?

We are to Love!

We are to love even our enemies!

No matter where we are or what we are doing we are to Love!

Our mercy is to out weigh our judgements!

We are to love our neighbor as ourselves!

Isn't it Gods goodness that leads us to repentance?

How can we say we love our brother and then speak a word of judgement agaisnt him, judgement brings death, not only to our brother, but to us.

The word says we are judged with the same measurement.

Love is the key to seeing faith work in a persons life,, even if they are sinning, it is the love that brings life, to death and changes darkness into light.

Love looks past the outside and looks with the eyes of Jesus,

He laid His life down for the sinner, to show us Love,

God is Love!

If we are to show people the face of God, we must show them Gods goodness!

If we are saved by grace, are we not suppose to treat eachother the way Jesus has loved us!

Undeserved Favor!
