The reproductive age of a women starts from the age of 15 years to 45 years. The cessation of menstrual cycle is termed as Menopause or Change of life. Every 28 days the ovary releases an ovum which comes to rest in the fallopian tube waiting to be fertilized by the sperm. The process of ovulation is controlled by various hormones.

Treat Menopause with Liquorices
Liquorices are highly beneficial in treating menopausal disorders of women because it contains estrogen. Take liquorices powder 1-2 tbsp a day.
Treat Menopause with Fibrous Food
A woman should take diet rich in fiber such as alfalfa, garlic, beans, cabbage, beets, vegetables like beet, pumpkin, fruits similar to apple, papaya, etc as it is helpful in boosting the estrogen level of body. It is the healthiest treatment of menopause.

Liquorice is also very beneficial. Take a teaspoonful of liquorice on daily basis.
India spikenard is good to treat tensions caused by menopause. It is better to have 2 grams per day.
One must take sprouts, nuts, vegetables, fruits, sprouted seeds, soybeans, alfalfa, cabbage, soyabean as well as olive oil. They provide much relief from menopausal problems.
Regular exercise is very good.
One must take a lot of calcium.
Since the vagina becomes dry and causes much pain during menopause and afterwards, it is advisable to drink plenty of water as well as fruit juices.
One must avoid caffeine as well as alcohol.

Diet for Menopause
Menopause caused due to deficiency of calcium. So, one should take diet rich in calcium such as milk, beans, peas and milk products. Vitamin D also helps in recovering the loss of calcium. When a woman experiences menopause, she should take a daily supplement consisting of 500 mg magnesium and 2 gm of calcium. One should eat green leafy vegetables, fruits, grains and sprouts in diet.
