<p>Acidity is provoked by a surplus secretion of acid by gastric glands from the stomach. It is well known the fact that the acid secreted by our stomach is very necessary for a normal digestive process because this acid produces different digestive enzymes (pepsin for example) that break complex particles of food in elements that can be digested by our body.</p>
<p>If the quantity of acid is more than usually, we feel an immense heartburn and we have the sensation that out threat is inflamed. Formation of dyspepsia and ulcers are other symptoms of acidity.</p>
<p>The acidity is also provoked by consumption of NSAID's (non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), alcohol, and very spicy food because these trigger the acid formation.</p>
<p><strong>Natural Remedies to Cure Acidity</strong></p>
<p>If you are sucking a piece of clove you will feel an immediate relief or intake milk or any other diary products. Consume fresh mint juice regularly and the acidity can be considerably reduced.</p>
<p>Make a concoction of apple cider vinegar and honey. Two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar are mixed with two spoons of honey in a glass of water. This concoction is drunk after every meal. There are some fruits and vegetables known for their proprieties to treat acidity. Consume cucumber, banana, papaya and watermelon, for example.</p>
<p>Persons that have acidity problems should avoid the consumption of coffee, tea and aerated drinks. It is recommended the consumption of herbal teas that contain liquorices and spearmint.</p>
<p>The consumption of a glass of warm tea daily is one of the simplest remedy for the acidity problems. 3-4 glasses of coconut water drunk every day can be useful, too.</p>
<p>Another solution is to have some yoghurt or to suck 10 grams of jaggery daily after your meals. This will help you to avoid the acidity problems. A glass of cabbage juice drunk daily is another solution. Another handy solution is to drink a glass of water in which you put a teaspoon of soda.</p>
<p>Tusli (basil) leaves are known for their proprieties to reduce acidity. So chew some basil leaves daily.</p>
<p>If you keep one teaspoon of carom seeds in your mouth and try to chew them slowly after every meal you should resolve the problem easily.</p>
<p>Chew a little piece of harad after every meal or drink a concoction made from one tablespoons of Amla and one tablespoon of haritaki. More on, add 1 tsp of chebulic myrobalan juice with 1 tsp of amla and drink the concoction daily.</p>
<p>Ginger root has the property to absorb the acid from your stomach. Ginger root capsules can be purchased from a nutritional store or from a natural health food store. Take a capsule after dinner.</p>
<p>Fennel seeds are very helpful with the digestion process. This powerful herb contains Anethole that suppresses the stomach spasm or the spasm of the gastrointestinal tract. So they are very helpful in acidity problems. Half a teaspoon of Fennel Seeds are chewed after every meal.</p>
<p>If you often have acidity problems try to renounce at coffee, alcohol and spicy food.</p>
