Creams are good but a home remedy for piles is by far the best way of treating them. You see the problem with the hemorrhoid creams and other such treatments is that while they do offer relief or get rid of piles they only get rid of the piles and not the cause of the hemorrhoids in the first place. Basically this means that you are going to keep getting piles and keep paying for treatment.
Here are 5 natural ways of relieving the pain suffered when you have piles.
Sit your bum in a bowl of lukewarm salty water for a few minutes 3 times a day.
Put an ice pack on your piles, not only will this ease pain but will also lessen their swelling.
Eat foods that you know make your "poo" soft, such as prunes, fruit and fruit juices.
When wiping after using the loo use a non scented baby wipe, avoid rough toilet tissue (ouch).
Use nappy rash cream or Vaseline on your piles, this will soothe them and stop the itching.
Nevertheless, it is very difficult to judge which of these cures for hemorrhoids is the best. As different people have different physical structures and immunity, they usually react to medications in a different manner. Whilst one responds to herbs, the other might not. Therefore, it is not possible to arrive at a conclusion without taking into consideration all the contributing factors.
But there are certain aspects that clearly state some hemorrhoid natural cures are more effective because they have no side effects, they have soothing properties, they heal the condition from inside and they also prevent the same from coming back.
It is true that all these aspects cannot be covered by modern conventional medications as they tend to work on the symptoms alone and not on the cause of hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are caused due to various underlying health conditions that involve the digestive system, the stomach, the bowel movements, our diet, our lifestyle and also our sleeping patterns. With conventional medicine, it is simply not possible to take care of all these aspects.
If you wish to cure piles naturally and completely, you can start taking the juice of bitter gourd. This is said to be very effective in getting rid of piles. Buttermilk, Banana and Rice
Because bowel disorders are the most common cause of hemorrhoids, you should do something to improve the health of your digestive system. One great way is to eat healthy. Prepare a thick gravy of rice and mix this with a full glass of buttermilk and sliced bananas. Have this for breakfast and for an afternoon snack. Not only is this filling and nutritious, it's also very yummy. Add sugar to taste. You should see results within a week.
You can also try goat's milk, which has been proven not only to be delicious, but is also very effective when it comes to hemorrhoid treatment. Prepare a quarter liter of goat's milk and make sure it doesn't curdle overnight. In the morning, mix the goat's milk with a quarter liter of carrot juice. Blend them together and drink the smoothie, which is very healthy. You can also buy goat's milk yogurt (just make sure it has been freshly prepared), and mix this with some finely chopped fresh carrots. The combination can do wonders for your digestive tract and can dramatically lessen the swelling of hemorrhoids in only three days.

- Guest 7 years agoRecently conducted my own research on cures for hemorrhoids. I found most people prefer natural healing for hemorrhoids above OTC (over the counter) treatments. The severity of the condition where third and fourth degree hemorrhoids are reached will require surgical treatments, never a "nice" option, some of which result in discomfort and pain.
