Premature ejaculation happens when a man has an orgasm sooner than he or his partner would like. Premature ejaculation can happen before or shortly after penetration.
There is no set time for how long a man should “last” during sex. But when a man has an orgasm before he wants to, he loses his erection and can’t continue with intercourse. Premature ejaculation can be frustrating and embarrassing. You may feel you don’t have enough time to enjoy sex. You may have difficulty satisfying your partner. For some men, embarrassment about premature ejaculation can cause problems with intimacy and damage their relationships.
Premature ejaculation is a common problem among men. About 30 percent to 40 percent of men have this problem at some time in their lives.
What causes premature ejaculation?
A number of emotional and physical factors can lead to premature ejaculation. It may happen when a man becomes too excited or stimulated, or if his penis is very sensitive. It may also happen if a man is nervous or uncomfortable with a new partner.

The only way to permanently cure premature ejaculation is to develop a range of skills to employ during sex to let you last longer in bed. That's why completing a specifically designed training program of premature ejaculation exercises should be the first thing any man who wants to cure premature ejaculation should do.
The good news is that you can complete a set of premature ejaculation exercises in your own home and on your own. There are a huge range of exercises and training methods you can complete, but with some dedication and a true desire to improve, you can complete the program within four weeks. By then you will have completely cured premature ejaculation and will have reached a stage where you only ejaculate when you choose to.

Stop Premature Ejaculation
Use foreplay to your advantage, stimulating your partner first. If you want to have quite a bit of intercourse before ejaculation, it's best not to allow yourself(male) to be the one getting the attention!
Let him put the condom on himself. This improves the chance of him not getting too turned on beforehand.
Tackle relationship issues. Be sure that your head and heart are in the mood for sex as well as your body. If you're unhappy about something with your partner then sort it out first.
Exercise your pelvic floor. Many men say they are able to delay ejaculation by squeezing or pushing their pelvic floor muscles.
Stop and start. This is the most common technique used in psychosexual therapy. Practise stimulating yourself to the point just before ejaculation, then stop. Start again when the sensations have subsided. Repeat this three times. You should find the length of time before each stop gets gradually longer.
Change strokes. If you feel you've gained more control with the stop-and-start technique, try changing your stroke to something less stimulating rather than stopping all together.
Change positions. During intercourse, try the stop-and-start technique when the sensations become strong. When you're more confident, try changing positions rather than stopping. Some men last much longer when their partner is on top.
