Lots of video websites and TV stations are now enthusiastically broadcasting the ongoing Olympic Games, such as basketball, gymnastics, soccer and swimming and so on. Here I want to introduce an easy way to collect the classical moments and hot games from the Olympics to share with friends and family.

Part1 . Download YouTube Video using online site or free tools.

1. Free Online Conversion Some websites provide free download of Youtube videos or other online videos. The following are three of them: http://vixy.net/ http://keepvid.com/ http://www.zamzar.com/

Step1. Take http://vixy.net/ for example, open the website.

Step2. Visit http://www.youtube.com to find your need video, copy the URL (e.g, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAzZxhSKCTk&feature=related ) from the Address field of your Internet browser, or copy the link from the RED dialog box. image

Step3. Paste the link at the URL field of http://keepvid.com/ after you open this website, select a conversion format from the "Convert to" field, and click OK to start the download and conversion. After it is finished, you will see a link "Download the converted video", click this link and save the final video on your computer. Note: This is a very easy way to download and convert YouTube movies, but the conversion speed may not be very desirable and you can only download one file at a time. If you want to download multiple files at a time, download the Free YouTube Downloader.

Part 2 Burn Olympic Games Videos to a DVD

After downloading the videos to your local computer, download Video to DVD Burner for creating the Olympic DVD. There are four steps to help you finish the job.

Step 1: Organize your slideshow Click the 'Load file' button to load the video files you want to burn. Then drag & drop the loaded files from the Collections pane to the slideshow storyboard to start organize your slideshow. You can sort the order of the video files in a slideshow by drag them in the storyboard. Click the Add Slideshow button (the first button from the left above the storyboard). image

Step 2: Apply Effects Click the Effect tab and you will see all the available transitions in the Effect pane, to apply a transition, you can just drag and drop it to into the slideshow storyboard. image

Step 3: Customize DVD menu (Optional) Click the Menu tab to customize your DVD menu. There are different styles of built-in templates, frames and buttons for your choice. To apply a template, frame or button, you can just double click it. You can even add text, background music and background image to customize the menu. image

Step4. Start Burning After you finish the three steps above, click the Burn tab to prepare for burning your project to blank DVDs, then you can share the Olympic Games programs to your, friends and others.

For the part 2, if you are a Mac user, you can download the Mac DVD Creator to burn your DVD.
