<p>Simbu the happening star in the Tamil film industry is all set to star in Pavan Kalyan's Komaram Puli movie. Simbu, if everything goes right will do a speacial song in the movie. According to the sources the director SJ Suryah has approached Simbu in this regard and Simbu has happily agreed to do this. And Simbu has also offered another thing for the director. Since this is a film of Pavan Kalyan, he would not mind doing to song for free.</p>
<p>Puli is directed by S.J. Surya who previously directed Khushi with Pawan Kalyan which was a blockbuster. Komaram is taken from the surname of the Gond martyr Komaram Bheem who fought against the erstwhile Asaf Jahi dynasty for the liberation of Hyderabad State. The music for the film is composed by A.R. Rahman.</p>
<p>The film is produced by Singanamala Ramesh. Pawan Kalyan will be acting as a cop in this film. Pawan Kalyan has gone through a makeover to suit himself to the role of powerful cop with a moustache and military cut.</p>
<p>Hansika, who was supposed to act as the female lead, has opted out. The film is directed by S.J. Surya. Nikisha Patel is playing the lead female role in the movie. The other prominent stars in the movie include Manoj Bajpai, Charan Raj, Nazar, Jyothi Krishna, Bhrahmaji, Ali, and Girish Karnad. It is believed that the project is worth Rs. 27 crore.</p>
<p>Puli is the dream project of S.J. Suriya. Initially, it was made for actor Vijay in Tamil but due to some problems with him in the story, the movie was then delayed by the director. Then later after the confirmation from Pavan Kalyan it was then again reviewed and finalised for the shoot. The background score is composed by Mani Sharma. The film was shot at various locations in Chennai and Hyderabad.
