<p>Thankfully, there are acne scar removal treatments available that can vanish these scars so you can look your very best. But like other acne treatments, not all acne scar removal products are equal.</p>
<p><strong>Types of Scars</strong><br />
A keloid scar is the results of overly aggressive healing that extend beyond the original injury.  After time, this type of scar may impede mobility.</p>
<p>Contracture scars is a common result of burning, which tightens the skin and may go deeper to affect muscles and nerves.<br />
Hypertrophic scars are raised and red and while they look like keloid scars, they do not go beyond the boundaries of the wound.<br />
Acne scars range from pitting to angular or wavelike scarring.</p>
<p><strong>Medical Options for Treatment of Scars</strong><br />
If the scar is impairing the quality of movement or damaging appearance medical treatment may offer relief.  There are a number of standard procedures for medically treating scars.<br />
Surgery can alter the shape or appearance of the scar, but will not eliminate it.  Surgery is not recommended for Hypertrophic or Keloid scaring as the scarring may return or new scarring from the treatment may occur.<br />
Steroid injections may be used to flatten scars or to soften the appearance of Keloid of Hypertrophic scars.<br />
Dermabrasion is the removal of surface skin with specialized equipment.  If the scar is raised above the surface, Dermabrasion may be useful.  Microdermabrasion can be useful for very superficial scarring.<br />
Laser resurfacing uses lasers to remove the top surface layers of skin.  New technology in laser resurfacing may be able to remove collagen without destroying the upper layers of skin.<br />
Collagen and Fat Injections are both useful for raising sunken scars, the results however may only be temporary.<br />
<strong>Acne Scar Removal Remedies</strong></p>

<li>Mix gram flour with butter milk and make a fine form of paste. Now apply this paste on acne scar effected area and wash with lukewarm water after 30 minutes. Repeat this for at least 20 to 30 days. This is a very beneficial home remedies for acne scar removal.</li>
<li>Nutmeg grinded with milk applied on the acne scars affected area will helps a lot in reducing the acne scars very effectively.</li>
<li>Carom seeds grinded with curd applied on the acne scar effected on face or any part of the body. Wait for 20 – 30 minutes and wash gently with lukewarm water. You will notice immediate effect on acne scar area. This is very traditional acne scar removal home remedy.</li>
<li>Make fenugreek paste and apply where do you want to remove acne scar, after some time wash with water will helps to get rid of acne scars. This is very popular home remedy for acne scar removal through out the world.</li>
<li>Coriander (Dhania) juice mixed with lemon juice applied on the face also removes acne and its scars. This is one of the best home treatments for acne scar removal.</li>
